The deployment of the contract by the mapper, the mapper's role as contract owner is revoked. Only the multisig then has the ownership (which is very decentralized, so the integrity of the contract is maintained). We do not give ownership back owing to security concerns, as we have had problems with previous projects. We propose using the fx-portal to keep ownership while also having a lot of flexibility.
